Travel guide to Nainital-Bhimtal Part 2 | Things to do in Bhimtal | Food | Adventure | Uttarakhand

Nainital-Bhimtal Travel : Day 2
1. Hotel Fishermen’s Lodge: A beautiful paradise located on the banks of Bhimtal lake with all lake facing rooms & balconies. Facilitates with buffet breakfast in morning with the lake view in front and has a library for the ones who want to read.
2. Machan restaurant. This place is always filled with people due to its tasty food, professional service and lovely views and all this in a fair price, it’s google rating is 4.1.
3. Sattal – is a cluster of mysteriously inter-connected seven freshwater lakes located in the Nainital district of Kumaon region. Unlike other hill stations, Sattal is still very much natural. Present in the Kumaon district of Uttarakhand, Sat tal is gorgeously surrounded by mountains and hills. But one thing that makes Sat tal truly worth visiting is its biodiversity.
4. Chai etc. café – a small and cute road side tea stall which offers all types of tea in kulhad and cups and snacks such as momos, rolls, bun maska etc. It has an open sitting area in front and space of parking also. Chai Etc is not like your everyday cafe. It is a NGO run cafe, which is part of self-help group ‘Uttarakhand Mahila Kamgar Society’ with the step towards generating employment for women in the Kumaon villages.
Nainital, Bhimtal, Sat tal and Naukuchital – All are in the radius of 40-50 km. So, you can stay at any of these places and visit all of them. Nainital being more commercialized, rest of the three offer plenty of better and economical options.
